What is a domestic EICR report?
So, what is a domestic EICR report? An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR certificate) is also known as fixed wire testing, periodic inspection report, Homebuyer’s Test, landlord safety test or Domestic EICR.
A domestic EICR report provides you with a formal assessment of the electrical safety in your home or any other residential property, and in London and across England it’s a legal requirement if the property is to be rented out to a tenant. For a homeowner this is recommended to be done every 10 years.
